    Lake Koocanusa is a beautiful spot in the east kootenays. It is called Koocanusa after Kootney, Canada, and UISA. Because it is located in these 3 places. Beautiful for meditation and ideal for a Summer Trip. The whol Wardner Provintial Park is beautiful as well as the town. 12 hours away from Vancouver but 6 from Calgary. Worth the summer trip, it was really fun for me!!
